The Pashupatinath Temple is a famed and blessed Hindu Temple
that is situated on the panels of the Bagmati River.
Total area of Pashupatinath Temple is 5 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu in the
eastern part of Kathmandu valley, the center of Nepal. The Temple assists as
the seat of Nepal's National divinity, Lord Pashupatinath. This Temple compound
was decorated on the UNESCO World Heritage sites list in 1979. “ Hindu Temple zone"
is a "extent gathering of Temples ,reclusive community and engravings raised over the eras along the
banks of the Bagmati River" and one of the seven memorial groups in
UNESCO's description of Kathmandu Valley as a cultural Heritage site.
One of the foremost festivals of the temple is Maha
Shivaratri on which day over 1 million believers visit here.
