Chhath Puja comes in Kartik or mangsir, the Goddess who is worshipped during the Chhath Puja is recognized as Chhathi Maiya. Chhathi Maiya is the daughter of Brahma and also known as Shasthi Devi in Vedas. She is the form of Parvati, wife of Mahadev and Sister of Lord Sun. During Chhath, she arises from Kailash in the form of Chhathi Maiya, and Dinanath accepts her. In the Mithilanchal region, she is also pray as the name of "Ranabe Mai. In this festival People worships both the rising and setting Sun. A sole feature about the Chhath Puja which is different from the traditional concept of Murti Pujan. Unlike maximum of the festivals of the Hindu religion, Murti Pujan is to worship the cold air, which signifies protection from death due to air and water. For many years it was linked with wealth and moral stories. People trust that Sun is essential for the life of possibly every living beings on the earth, and this festival is a mode to pay tribute to the Sun, regardless of kind, belief, femininity, and social stigmas.
