SHREE RAMCHANDRA MANDIR
Shree Ramchandra Mandir |
Shree Ramchandra Mandir is situated at Gausala Chowk Road, 1
kilometer South-West from pashupatinath Temple. It is blessed place of Hindu
God Ram. One of the major festival of this Temple is Ramnawami.
Ram was son of Dasharatha
and Kaushalya. He was born in Ayodhya. His siblings included Lakshman,
Shatrughan and Bharat. He wedded Sita. Though born in a imperial family, their life is labelled in
the Hindu texts as one defied by unexpected changes such as an exile into penurious
and difficult circumstances, ethical questions and moral quandaries. Of
all their struggles, the most prominent is the kidnapping of Sita by demon-king
Ravan, followed by the determined and impressive efforts of Ram and Lakshman to
gain her autonomy and finish the evil Ravan against great odds. The whole life
story of Ram, Sita and their mates allegorically discusses responsibilities,
rights and social errands of an individual. It demonstrates dharma and
dharmic living through ideal characters.
